All Around Versace-nous in Wonderland

Versace has definitely brought everybody's attention to its Spring/Summer Collection 2010 presented in Milan Fashion Week. It is about time Versace will rise above the others as it did during Gianni Versace's ruling of this couture powerhouse. Donatella has certainly made sure that she continues the accent of her brother's taste of bright colors, risky mini skirts, immaculate platform stilettos in addition to flashy Italian chic taste.
Glittery detail, geometric shapes, low V-necks, lots of leg & super fitted outfits brought "sexy back" which her brother always carried through his past collections. Donatella Versace's pieces made a distinctive fashion statement for the year 2010 where designers must follow & take risks, make everything possible to wear and at the same time, be fashionable, make woman feel comfortable in her feminine skin & certainly set her apart from the others.
In Donatella's interview, she mentioned that she had been inspired by Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland" and his "idea of that fantasyland". She tried to connect the dots between her passion for fashion and the past of her brother's input into the couture world. She certainly succeeded and presented a collection of the dreamy evening gowns, leather studded short dresses and fun two piece printed suits.
