Coco Cocoon’s Introduction to the World

I have mentioned Coco Cocoon in my previous posts (please read Chanel & Lily Allen - A BIG Hit or “No-No”) and that Lily Allen was the face of Chanel’s October launch of newly designed, reversible, nylon and lambskin bag collection. The fact that they hit the stores in the fall and present a new casual look for Chanel purses, has made its mark on many of us. We have always wanted something comfortable, easy to care for & fun for everyday wear. I think this bag collection wins by having all of the above & more.
It proves that Chanel can be very versatile & easy going. In my eyes, this collection is simple, chic & wins its prize for having “two bags in one” (reversible in two different colors). It is light weight and durable for weather when it snows and rains. I would not want my Classic Chanel 2.55 be exposed to any of harsh weather conditions, that’s where Cocoon comes into play.

“Pleasant Surprise” for Spring 2010

I was amazed when I opened this page and glanced at the fresh preview of CHANEL Spring season handbag collection 2010. This is something I would call a "pleasant surprise"! My favorite tweet, flowers and amazing color combination is all I asked of Karl Lagerfeld for years.
Thank you to PurseBlog to provide me with the first look. I am definitely starting to save some extra $$$ starting now since I would be spending a lot of time in the Chanel Boutique next season.

Butterfly Twists – Clever Little Soles

We all know that heels are must have accessory in every fashionista's closet but what about the days when you just want to wear something comfy, stylish and chic at the same time? You can spend days looking for that "shoe wonder" since you want it to fit right and look great. I found this great pair of soles called Butterfly Twists which "are the newest product that will become every girl’s best friend. These cute, stylish and versatile ballet pumps are a must have item if you are a girl about town who loves her heels but doesn’t spend her life being chauffeured from A to B. You’ll wonder how you ever lived without them.
These foldable, lightweight pumps slot neatly into your handbag – avoiding having to carry around an extra unsightly carrier bag (not a good look) or cramming your beloved heels into your handbag. The innovative twist design folds neatly together for a super-compact parcel that slots easily into this season’s clutch so can be taken on a night out too. Butterfly Twists are the ultimate companion and wardrobe essential which offer versatility in many different scenarios; from slipping a pair on when sitting at your desk to relieve tired feet, to flight travel, nipping around town and driving."
Having Butterfly Twists come in seven different colors with the adorable butterfly emblem and accurate detailing, makes it a must have item on your shopping list. I would love to have it in purple and cream color as well as in black. They are light weight and can be stored in any handbag just like that pair of glasses or a cellphone case.

Victoria’s FuschiaMania

It seems like Victoria Beckham adores color of Fuschia. I saw her caring Hermes Birkin bag with high platform heels both in Fuschia and she is not afraid of critics. I wouldn’t either since this is the best color to wear if you are concerned with your pale completion or even want to bring out the color of your eyes.

Victoria is not afraid of bright and bold combination, she can pull her look off extraordinary well without being bashed by many fashion critics on their magazine pages. It is important to be brave and know how to match up pieces together. If you are totally in the mood for fuschia, make sure you have just two pieces same color to your look: dress and handbag or shoes and handbag... maybe a hat but that would be an extra. Jewelry is not necessary in this case, simple look in fuschia will do its best.
Master “Macramé” Pieces from Ohne Titel & Cesare Paciotti
Summer is officially over since this morning I could feel the cold breeze and my feet were freezing in the open toe sandals but I am still not ready to store my open toe shoes in the far corner of my closet. We can probably get away with wearing them at least until mid September or even early October. In order to pick out some distinctive shoes, belts & handbags for any season whether it is summer or fall, I refered to CESARE PACIOTTI, an Italian designer who has been known for his unique style, elegance & quality.

CESARE PACIOTTI has created a new collection of fun shoes with collaboration of German designer brand Ohne Titel which recently has been praised on the front pages of many fashion websites and magazines. "A visual reference for inspiration on the collection was also drawn from the works of Russian sculptor, Naum Gabo" (please see visual image from imagenscomtexto.blogspot.com).

I find it very interesting how designers from different backgrounds have combined their talents to create interesting theme with something "forward-thinking and innovative" for the world to see. Designers have transformed their artistic vision of sculptures into a collection of shoes which gave us a bit of an edgy and outbeat feel.

The ladies of Ohne Titel, Alexa Adams and Flora Gill, have been very successful since their first collection launched in 2006. In one of their interviews they are sharing the places which inspired them to create new collection of shoes and they provide a list of stores in Paris and NYC. One of the most used details of their shoe collection is bright colored "macramé" with feathery strings that wrap around your ankle multiple times.
Some of their Fall collection highlights are the futuristic black boots which are more close to the original look of the their collections that represents two of the designers of Ohne Titel on the runway.

We all know who Ruth Madoff is. Just recently, her shopping sprees got limited to $100 since she cannot spend more $$$ on herself without first informing the trustee who was appointed to liquidate her husband's estate. If you live in NYC, you can barely find socks that cost that much. I tried to see if I can help her to get some chic items online without leaving the house & not spending more than $100 on one item. Chanel & Lily Allen – A BIG Hit or “No-No”

Who can predict right now if new Chanel Fall/Winter 2009/2010 Collection is on the right track or not? Have you seen who is the new face of Chanel? It is Lily Allen of all the prospective models. Her hair put into elegant chignon with the tiara on her head & she is swing the bags in front of the camera with the playful gestures. She looks great in comparison to her onstage appearances.

The new collection of sportswear bags and accessories is on the way to stores around you. The name chosen for the collection is “Coco Cocoon”. It is very thoughtful and certainly an eye catching name for the collection but what about the model chosen for this ad campaign? Do you think it would be a HIT or a BIG No-No? People Magazine displayed the images and has some intro to the collection.
