Karl’s Sporting Goods Collection
Chanel brand name has gotten years of recognition for its quality, originality & popularity around the world. I just cannot get enough of Karl Lagerfeld and his couture creations which are now extended into designs of sporting goods. Who would want to own a Chanel logo football for $195.00? Will you use it for your kid’s Sunday practice? Most people will probably not even think of spending this kind of money on a football. But somebody who is a fashion extremist & loves the world of brand names displayed on everything they own - would be the person necessitating this piece.
If you like to splurge and be covered with CC logos and at the same time, being able to enjoy snow boarding or kayaking, it is now possible with Karl’s help. Chanel fans, both male & female, could only dream of having a snow board or small boat as part of their “toy” collection. Both are now available for sale. Admirers of Chanel have been hunting stores and internet for these “hard-to-get” items. I am surprised that Karl Lagerfeld has been expanding his brand name with more unisex items. It played a huge role on magnetizing men’s crowd to his designs and opening its doors for new clientele.
If you think this is something you would want to purchase from these items, hurry since these items will be available only at the Chanel boutiques.
New Chanel Trend – Transfer Tattoos

Coming into Spring Season, Chanel has been bragging about its body art which will be available early this Spring. You will be able to have Chanel's transfer tattoos with "clever bangle, bead and floral designs" on your neck, legs or back. Of course, its creating a big buzz since who could have thought that you will be able to have that CC emblem on any part of your body. What if you would want to use it instead of a bracelet on your ankle or imaginary wrap around your thigh worn with a short skirt! These things will be extremely popular and must have for Spring 2010. The problem is they might sold out in no time. So you need to make sure you are in line on March 1st!
Happy Shopping at Chanel!
Coco Cocoon’s Introduction to the World

I have mentioned Coco Cocoon in my previous posts (please read Chanel & Lily Allen - A BIG Hit or “No-No”) and that Lily Allen was the face of Chanel’s October launch of newly designed, reversible, nylon and lambskin bag collection. The fact that they hit the stores in the fall and present a new casual look for Chanel purses, has made its mark on many of us. We have always wanted something comfortable, easy to care for & fun for everyday wear. I think this bag collection wins by having all of the above & more.
It proves that Chanel can be very versatile & easy going. In my eyes, this collection is simple, chic & wins its prize for having “two bags in one” (reversible in two different colors). It is light weight and durable for weather when it snows and rains. I would not want my Classic Chanel 2.55 be exposed to any of harsh weather conditions, that’s where Cocoon comes into play.

Karl’s New Mag for Chanel Worthy Audience
I have noticed that lately stores and fashion designers have been into opening new blogs and online magazines for their customers. And now there are more & more hard copy magazines available for sale. Mostly are to let you know about fashion news, new designs and trends, basically connect with the public on the personal level. Trying to get a word out there while shoppers are in their homes stuck to their TVs and computers and not willing to go out shopping these days.

First, it was Forever 21 and H&M, and now even Karl has linked himself to the publishing world. He has created "31 Rue Cambon, the inaugural issue of the in-house Chanel magazine". It was named after the infamous address of Chanel’s apartment in Paris & her first boutique. Purple Magazine's Olivier Zahm has been overseeing this project and has given a word of approval to Karl. If you would like to purchase a copy, they will be available in all Chanel Boutiques. I am very interested to see its photography, read their articles and certain keep up with Karl's own upcoming trends.
“Pleasant Surprise” for Spring 2010

I was amazed when I opened this page and glanced at the fresh preview of CHANEL Spring season handbag collection 2010. This is something I would call a "pleasant surprise"! My favorite tweet, flowers and amazing color combination is all I asked of Karl Lagerfeld for years.
Thank you to PurseBlog to provide me with the first look. I am definitely starting to save some extra $$$ starting now since I would be spending a lot of time in the Chanel Boutique next season.

Chanel No. 5 Vintage At Its Best

Polyvore has a great collection of Chanel Vintage clothing and accessories. It provides all the garment details as well as the originator contact meaning the stores and websites which can be your primary assistant in finding there expensive pieces. I think some of them are absolutely priceless and are not for sale.
If you search for any piece or planning to put an outfit together, you can create a great look and post it on Polyvore for everybody to see. What a great idea since you can totally share your taste and fashionista trend with everybody else on the planet.
My favorite look was the one with bright reds and always elegant blacks incorporated into a chic "Breakfast at Tiffany's" look by Arielle Goosenberth. Visit her page and have fun connecting to others who appreciate these rare Chanel Vintage pieces.

***Happy Birthday to Karl Lagerfeld***
Karl on Vacation in Saint Tropez

Fashion designer is turning 76 years old today. Born on 10 September 1938, Hamburg, Germany, Karl has been brought up in the weathly family where his father was Swedish and his mother German. "He went to Paris in 1952, where he studied informally, with the ambition to be fashion designer, until he won a prize for a wool coat from the Wool Secretariat in 1954 (the same contest in which Yves Saint Laurent won an award for a dress)."
Karl Lagerfeld is one of the worlds most respected designers. He first worked at Pierre Balmain (1954-57), House of Patou (1958), Chloe (1959-78), Fendi (1965). Finally in 1983 he has started to design his own look for Chanel. When Coco Chanel died, Karl gained control over the company and has stayed there ever since and he is always surrounded by beauty not only women but men too.
Happy Birthday to Karl Lagerfeld!

Chanel & Lily Allen – A BIG Hit or “No-No”

Who can predict right now if new Chanel Fall/Winter 2009/2010 Collection is on the right track or not? Have you seen who is the new face of Chanel? It is Lily Allen of all the prospective models. Her hair put into elegant chignon with the tiara on her head & she is swing the bags in front of the camera with the playful gestures. She looks great in comparison to her onstage appearances.

The new collection of sportswear bags and accessories is on the way to stores around you. The name chosen for the collection is “Coco Cocoon”. It is very thoughtful and certainly an eye catching name for the collection but what about the model chosen for this ad campaign? Do you think it would be a HIT or a BIG No-No? People Magazine displayed the images and has some intro to the collection.
CHANEL 2009 Fall Collection – Vote “heads up” or “thumbs down”?
This is something out of the ordinary from Karl this year! I am not sure if he is experimenting to see if people are going to love it or hate it but the collection is definitely not done in a CHANEL classic style that we all know it to be. Do you think new CHANEL Fall Collection 2009 is "heads up" or "thumbs down"?
Do we like the fish tails, extensions for skirts with unproportional three layer dresses or do we still like the classic suit with the button down jackets and knee length skirts made out of the thick colorful tweed material with logo CC on the buttons?
I haven't even mentioned anything about the accessories but they are definitely a MUST SEE & believe the plastic case for your CHANEL 255 classic handbag (called after Coco Chanel first designed it in February 1955). Lets just say I am not ready to put up my Classic on the wall as a picture in the frame. Thoughts please?
