Venus is on the Rise to Trendy Fashion

I have previously mentioned Venus.com by referring you to their $9.99 bikinis. I come to realize that not only it has cheap swimwear, it also has some nice pieces of clothing that are available at the reasonable prices considering that they might be out of the season tomorrow (due to seasonal trend changes). I love their dresses and comfy T-shirts and tank tops. If you are thinking of buying pants or leggings, this is the place to visit as well.

My most recent finds would be Blue (BL) denim skinny legging $38 and Black (BK) strappy back shirt $38. When I first saw both browsing pages of this website, I could imagine them together in one outfit with some crazy high heels and maybe a nice pair of earrings. Even if black shirt and blue pants sounds simple and boring, these do look great together by adding the new fashionable "feel". You can have the whole outfit just for the total of $76.
PS: I love the girls hair in these pictures, it definitely adds to the look!

Make Yourself Ruffled Up

One of my favorite websites is Etsy.com. It has some of the unique handmade crafts which you will never be able to find in stores. Designers are regular people who are wishing to show the world their skill in making something different. I have signed up for their daily e-mails and have found some great pieces of clothing, accessories and some decorative items for the house.

My favorite would be DYANAS DESIGNS, they are simple T shirts with the low cut neck and handsewn oversized ruffles which make them look dressy and chic. They come in the neutral colors like black, white and grey but if you desire to have it in any other color, you can contact the designer to discuss. Designer uses "only the finest quality materials" to create her clothing. DYANAS DESIGNS shirts can be added to any two piece outfit, some jewelry, high heels & dinner outfit is ready. Prices range from $35 to $58 & they totally worth paying this price.

“Lisa for Loft” New Necklaces at Ann Taylor

Lisa Salzer who is the designer behind Lulu Frost jewelry is designing her "new line of accessories for Ann Taylor Loft (Lisa for Loft) benefits breast-cancer research".
Its so exciting since I love Lulu Frost & to tell you the truth even though necklaces are like $500, they are truly unique pieces and stand out from the rest of chunky jewelry designers that are hip this year. She has also sold her stuff for Urban Outfitters & 20th anniversary ad campaign for DKNY.

Five Must Have Items under $100
We all know who Ruth Madoff is. Just recently, her shopping sprees got limited to $100 since she cannot spend more $$$ on herself without first informing the trustee who was appointed to liquidate her husband's estate. If you live in NYC, you can barely find socks that cost that much. I tried to see if I can help her to get some chic items online without leaving the house & not spending more than $100 on one item. Please see below for my 5 top items under $100:
Pink Studio Lupe Handbag $80.00 on Piperlime.com

United Colors of Benetton Skirt Knee Length $69.00 Call (800) 535-4491 for stores

Jessica Simpson polka dot stiletto, $79.00 on Heels.com

Mystree Ruffle Design Tank Top $16.46 on Overstock.com

Whitney's Light Blue Teardrop Earrings $46.95 on FantasyJewerlyBox.com

How much would you spend on a Dog House?

I just read that Paris Hilton spent $325,000 on a dog house. Can you imagine? I think if you have all the money in the world and wanting to get rid of small amount like $325,000 & at the same time, pamper animals, you should donate it to an animal shelter. Wouldnt you agree?

Rodarte for Target is coming in December 2009

Kate and Laura Mulleavy of Rodarte will finally debut their designs for the rest of us who cannot afford their immaculate high end fashion pieces. They will be designing for Target as a part of the Go International series which previously introduced other designers like Thakoon, Richard Chai, Milla Jovovich and Carmen Hawk as part of the project. How they are going to interpret their designs into something more applicable for shopping clientele of Target is still a mystery to me.
Prices will range from $9.99 for accessories up to $79.99 for clothing pieces. They are reasonable prices and affordable for most of us in addition they will present their detailed & unique work to the rest of the world. Spokesperson for Target has mentioned that deigns will be “very feminine, yet very modern. The collection incorporates a rich mix of patterns and fabrications and everything from sequins and bows to faux fur. The key with Rodarte is layering.” We did not doubt that therefore looking forward to December & hopefully a couple of their pieces in my closet.

“Gucci Ronsons” To Debut in October

Gucci has teamed up with Mark Ronson to design a line of cool new hip sneakers called "Gucci Ronsons" which will debut in October in NYC stores and to be sold only in "sneakers-only pop-up shops" (whatever that means). They might become popular among young crowd only if Lindsay Lohan will not throw another fit in front of Samantha's house which will totally ruin everybody's mood & reputation. The funny thing is when you google Ronsons, pictures of Lindsay come up, is she now part of the family?
